Mission: Meet students at their current level and provide resources and tools for them to develop a strong foundation for a successful future.

Vision: The J21VA Counseling Department believes all students can achieve academic success at high levels through a flexible blended model. A comprehensive and systemic guidance program is an integral part of the total education program that supports all students in their academic, personal/social and career development needs.

Services: Counseling opportunities, including academic, career, and social/emotional guidance, are provided for students in individual, small group, and classroom settings. Counselors meet weekly with J21VA teams, facilitating communication among students, teachers, administration and families about students' needs. We are available to students and families for telephone, virtual and in-person conferences to address specific concerns. We encourage appointments so that we may better address your needs.
