This is a completely online model where full-time high school students have the option to attend on campus each Thursday by appointment between 9am - 12pm but learn online otherwise.  Full-time students may be required to meet with teachers on Thursday, if deemed necessary.

Credits earned at JVA are the same credits earned at other Jeffco high schools.  On a student's transcript, all Jeffco credits will be listed by which school they were earned.  Not only are our graduates earning a Jeffco Diploma, they're also going into the world with all of the invaluable experience gained from completing online classes successfully.

Other social opportunities include field trips, casual gatherings and online clubs.

We have another program, Targeted Actions to Graduation (TAG), designed to help students recover credits at an accelerated rate.  If you're looking for full-time enrollment and are significantly behind on credits, consider applying for our TAG program: click here.

Enrollment Requirements*:

  • Reside in Colorado
  • Younger than 21 years of age
  • Not be enrolled in another public school outside of Jeffco

PART-TIME 1-3 classes

» The part-time High School application has closed for the 2019-2020 school year.  Please contact your home school counselor if you need to discuss other options.

                                         ______________________________________________________

This is a completely online model where part-time high school students are never required to come to our campus.  These students are attending another Jeffco school full-time, but have the option to attend on campus each Thursday by appointment between 9am - 12pm

This enrollment option is designed for students who need flexibility to study outside of the traditional classroom or want to take classes that aren't available otherwise.

» Outdoor Lab Interns - students who intern at Outdoor Lab over the course of a semester enroll part-time at JVA so they can live at Outdoor Lab during the school week and complete their classes remotely.  These students remain full-time at their home school.

Enrollment Requirements*:

  • Reside in Colorado
  • Younger than 21 years of age
  • Be enrolled in another Jeffco school full-time
  • Successfully complete JVA's enrollment process
  • Enroll in a minimum of 1 course during both the Fall and Spring semesters
  • Participate in standardized testing at their full-time school.
