JVA students and families -

We are closing in on the end of the first semester.  If you have stayed on schedule and on track in your classes, keep up the great work and finish strong.  If you have fallen behind in one or several classes, work with your teachers to make up as much work as possible.  Here are some important date reminders for the semester:

• All LATE and CURRENT work is due from all students by Friday, December 17th at 3 pm.
• Final Exams are planned from December 16th through December 21st.  You may have a final exam or project to complete on Monday and/or Tuesday, December 20th and 21st.  December 21st is the final day of the semester for students and staff.
• Teachers will post your final semester grades no later than 12 pm on January 4th.  The first day of semester 2 is January 5th.

Stay focused and work hard the next few weeks to be sure you are learning the material in your courses and earning the best possible grades.
